The Center was established to create a central identity for entrepreneurship, technology transfer and commercialization at UTEP.

    The El Paso SCORE Chapter provides free counseling, financial advice, business advice, various conferences and low or no-cost workshops in English and Spanish.
  • Kauffman Foundation “From Idea to Business” Guide:
    Entrepreneurs often find it challenging to go from idea to a valid business model, which is essential for a business to get off the ground, let alone survive and grow. The Kauffman Foundation, in collaboration with Strategyzer, has unveiled the “From Idea to Business” video series that teaches entrepreneurs how to design and test business models that help their ideas have a better chance of succeeding.
  • Small Business Development Center
    Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) are partnerships primarily between the government and colleges/universities administered by the Small Business Administration and aims at giving educational services for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.
  • RampCorp: Texas State University
    The Ramps™ training includes both skills training and knowledge training to provide guidance in starting, growing and funding, and every aspect of launching a scalable company. Many participants have already started a company when they join, while others launch a business during the program.
  • El Paso REDCo
    The El Paso Regional Economic Development Corporation (REDCo) is a nonprofit organization providing confidential, no-fee consultation to assist business and industry interested in relocating or expanding their operations to the Greater El Paso region.

  • Center for Environmental Resource Management
    The Center for Environmental Resource Management provides university-wide leadership and coordination for environmentally-related research, education, and outreach activities.

Life Science/Biomedical:

  • Medical Center of the Americas Foundation
    The Medical Center of the Americas (MCA) Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to advance the development of the MCA campus and advance the Paso del Norte region’s biomedical innovation pipeline.  The Foundation is the keeper of the vision to position the Paso del Norte region as the global leader of health delivery, education and research concentrating on issues unique to the Hispanic, border and military populations.

    Located at the University of Texas at El Paso, The Keck Center is home to state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing technology and a dedicated staff ready for any challenge, be it medical or mechanical.
  • Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center
    TMAC delivers training and hands-on technical assistance to a wide range of businesses, including manufacturing, government, and health care. They have a wide array of services that improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. Focus areas include Lean Enterprise, technology solutions, strategic management, quality systems, environment and safety.
