The Hub of Human Innovation is hosting two upcoming workshops. The business incubator holds a one-day crash course on the U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hub of Human Innovation, 500 W. Overland, Ste. 230.
The speaker is Maria Perez, who will talk about the green building credential. The cost is $50 for USGBC members and students; $65 for nonmembers; and $75 at the door.

The business incubator is also looking for entrepreneurs and startups that would like to present at 1 Million Cups, a new community program aimed at boosting entrepreneurship activity in the region.
Created by the nonprofit Kauffman Foundation, 1 Million Cups is organized in more than 100 cities by local startup communities. Entrepreneurs and businesspeople gather over coffee to hear startup pitches and make connections.
